Vlychada Beach

Vlychada is a long sandy beach with picturesque rock formations and white cliffs. Despite its natural beauty, Vlychada wasn’t very busy beach. For a long time it was known as one of Santorini's virgin beaches, but apparently it has started evolving.

Today, part of the beach is organized, offering cool drinks, umbrellas, sunbeds... but you can find your spot also, if you're looking for more privacy.

You can get to Vlychada easily by car or scooter. There is also a bus line which goes from Fira, the capitol city. Close to the beach you can find local taverns that offer traditional Santorinian dishes and wine as well.

Although it’s not that far way, this beach seems disconnected from the rest of the island. If you're looking for a quiet and secluded beach experience then Vlychada beach is for you.
